What is ITIL®?
ITIL® (the IT Infrastructure Library) is the most widely accepted approach to IT service management in the world. It provides a cohesive framework of best practices, drawn from the public and private sectors internationally and also supports the international standards for IT Service Management, ISO/IEC20000.
ITIL® consists of a series of books giving guidance on the provision of quality IT services, and on the environment needed to support IT services. ITIL® has been developed, recognizing that organisations are becoming increasingly dependent on IT in order to satisfy their corporate aims and meet their business needs. This has led to an increased requirement for high quality IT services.
The architecture of the ITIL® Core is based on a Service Lifecycle. Each volume (book) of the core is represented in the Service Lifecycle.
Due to an increasing demand from customers - we have introduced an ITIL Awareness Course which gives attendees a quick overview of ITIL concepts, processes and the Service Lifecycle.
