Learning Objectives for the ITIL Foundation Course:
The purpose of the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (the exam that this course prepares you for) is to certify that the candidate has gained knowledge of the ITIL® terminology, structure and basic concepts and has comprehended the core principles of ITIL® practices for Service Management.
Candidates can expect learn more about ITIL and Service Management as a practice, the ITIL Service Lifecycle, Key Principles and Models and Generic ITIL Concepts. The course also covers Selected Processes, Roles and Functions and also explains how ITIL relates to Technology and Architecture. We will also give you an overview of the ITIL Qualification scheme so that you can plan your career development beyond ITIL Foundation.

- Nine detailed instructions sessions (slides plus instructors notes and comments on the slides)
- Practice exams to prepare you for the exam.
- Access to certified instructors to discuss any issues that needs clarification

Writing The ITIL Exam
The course is designed to prepare students to sit the ITIL® Foundation in IT Service Management Examination. Passing the foundation examination is a pre-required for entry into all further ITIL® intermediate courses. Please note that the course fee does not include the exam fee and the exam MUST be booked separately with us or you can book your exam directly with Loyalist Certification Services or at any VUE or Prometric exam centre.
The ITIL® framework is supported by a comprehensive training and certification framework leading to internationally recognised certification for individuals. ITIL® certification demonstrates the candidate understand of the framework and is an indication that they can apply the principles in a real-life environment.
